What We Collect
Nothing. There is nothing to sign up for with us, nothing of ours to log in to, no analytics, no ads, and no tracking of any kind. The game plays OFFLINE: a connection is only ever used by Apple's own services, Game Center, iCloud and the App Store, and only for what each of them does.
Your Progress
Your progress and high scores are kept on your device and in your own private iCloud, so they follow you to a new device; your settings stay on the device. We never see them: Apple stores them under your Apple ID, and only your devices can read them. Player names you type are kept the same way, on your device and in your own iCloud.
Game Center
If Game Center is enabled on your device, the game submits your furthest mission, best run score, highest Endless wave, commander level and earned medals to Apple's leaderboards, under the nickname you chose with Apple. Apart from your own iCloud copy described above and what PLAY TOGETHER sends to the friend's device next to you (below), that is the only information that ever leaves your device, it goes to Apple and not to us, and we cannot see who is behind a nickname. Sign out of Game Center in your device settings and every mission keeps working exactly as before.
Play Together
PLAY TOGETHER links two devices side by side directly, over Apple's peer-to-peer Wi-Fi, with no internet, no server and no account. The first time you host or join, iOS asks to let the game find devices on your local network. While two devices play together they exchange only what the shared battle needs: each player's commander name, tank look and moves. It goes straight from one device to the other, never to us or anyone else, and nothing is kept after the battle.
Purchases
The optional Full Version purchase and the tip jar are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see or store your payment information. Purchases can be restored at any time in the game, on its store screen or in MENU > SETTINGS > SUPPORT & CONTACT (the MORE tab on an upright iPhone), and refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Children
The game contains no chat, no messaging and no data collection, and is rated 9+ for mild cartoon violence. The only thing a player types is a player name, which stays on the device and in the player's own iCloud, and is shown to the friend next to them during PLAY TOGETHER. The only social element is Apple's Game Center, described above, which a parent can switch off in Screen Time. A victory card leaves the game only when the player sends it through the system Share sheet.
